It's about maintaining a dominant image amongst culture that never fades or fazes
Y'all understand. The reason dude ain't outchea getting ethered or getting his image seriously ruined is because he ain't part of the hip hop game. There's certain artists in this world that really ain't linked to any genre or anything in particular, but do make music that gets aligned to whatever genre. You try to diss Taylor Swift or Adele (no reason to do that for the most part) or someone like that, because you'll go from an established artist to a guy heckled for life. You might not be directly fukkED, but it's a warning shot. The farther you go down the road, you see there's less and less to be gained.
