Outside of a console, who even owns a Blu-ray player in this thread :laff:

Some will, I'm leaning towards most not currently owning one :jbhmm: tbc

I own a Sony region free 4K blu ray player...can cop Japanese region locked blu rays/dvds and play them with no worries:blessed:

Living is when you forget about all these material things that are bulshyt. And you embrace your friends and family while they still here. Every decade a new medium takes over and people disappear. Don't spend your time collecting meaningless things bruh, cuz nobody will care or miss those items. They'll miss you.

And you want your grandson to watch any video that's under 12k resolution? The fukk :dahell:

Bought Alfredo 2 on Friday. If going to the theater counts, I saw Eddington a couple weeks ago.

I have a Blu-Ray player and an Ultra HD Blu-Ray player. Someone gave me the Ultra HD one cause they said they don’t use it.

So this is where I would buy, because I'm not taking the fam to the theater anymore.
We saw Bettlejuice 2, paid $90 for 5 of us, 2 adults.
A week later I peep that I could buy the movie and watch at home for $30, would rather do that and then spend the extra $60 on something else to do with the fam. Dinner and a movie at home. Outside of skipping the theater, I can't fathom too many reasons to buy these days

Is there a difference? I was not aware they was running that scam but it figures.
I only stream, but if I needed to I'd use my console so I guess I'm covered :francis:

I buy vinyls when I can. I like having a physical collection. I just copped GNX, Madd Villainy, and The Plugs I Met to add to the little collection I've got.

I don't really get why it bothers [digital gang] so much to see [physical gang] buying anything.
It really ends up sounding like projection most of the time.
"Who the hell has space for all those discs!?" :damn:
"Ummmmm. I do. :manny: I have a video game room".
People collect what they collect. I'm not sure why the concept is so foreign.
People have whole board game rooms, card collection rooms, etc.
It's an oxymoron every time a game gets remaster or remade people celebrate, but keeping original games with their artwork+case is some how stupid.
Gaming (like a BUNCH of hobbies) is always going to be part a) hype for the latest and greatest experience b) a shot of nostalgia for how great things were.
And yes, you can emulate this and emulate that, but some people [gasp] like using original hardware, hell there's a ton of people that keep an old CRT or are looking for an old CRT to really get that full experience. I swear these are internet arguments only. In real life, I've never once had anyone of any age walk into my game room and ask why in the world would I still have this or that. 10 times out of 10 the reaction is "Holy crap! I remember I used to have this!"
