People wanna act like shaq was a saint and kobe was the only one who beefed with him.

And these haters actually created threads talking about Jordan and shaq would co-exist for 6-7 championships. :heh:

Shaq pretty much beefed with ever wing player who he thought was getting more attention and notoriety than him.

Shaq has really matured over the last few years. I read on one of his recent interviews that out of playing with Kobe, Wade and Bron....he was hardest on Kobe. It's a shame. Shaq knows deep down he fukked up and thats why his entire demeanor has changed. Had he accepted that the young kid was becoming better, ala David Robinson/Duncan or Duncan/Parker, he could've been in LA winning titles during Kobe's prime instead of wasting away in Phoenix and Cleveland...

In that whole situation Shaq deserves the most blame but Kobe and Phil aren't without blame either.

Kobe alienated his other teammates at times also because he treated everything like straight up job. He was on some "don't talk to me outside of work" type shyt.

Phil fukked up by not only taking sides but at times playing them against each other. Kobe would talk to Phil about something and Phil would go right to Shaq with it and sometimes even spin it to get Shaq angry (and playing better).

Like I said though Shaq played the biggest role in the split. Only situation I can think of where a player regularly took shots at his teammate. Shaq had a lot of friends in the media and used those connections to slander Kobe constantly.

:whoa: Gasol has yet to produce like his older brother has yet. Pau's leavin'/left his prime, but a prime Pau does everything better than Marc

In case you haven't figured it out nobody seems to know who Pau Gasol actually is around here.

He just gets batted around in the constant bytching about Kobe.

When the Lakers are heading into the playoffs Pau is soft as a baby's ass and the most overrated big in the league. If the Lakers make it to the finals and win it's because Pau Gasol is one of the most dominant and skill bigs in the history of the league.

Even among Lakers fans you have some people that think trading Pau for ANYTHING is better than having him on the team. This past season dudes were honestly begging for Kupchak to trade Pau for Andrea Bargnani. I saw games where Pau would make ONE mistake but if the Lakers lost people would blame it entirely on him.

It took Pau going down with an injury to gain even a modicum of respect. Some of that is his own fault, but dudes take it way too far at times.

Kobe got along with his eruo teammates in the mid 2G. Kobe was caught speaking Italian on the regular. I think they even hung out.

I'm not sure how much his other teammates wanted to hang out beside bottle poppin wherever. But then again sometimes you gotta hangout to figure out people ain't as ignorant as ya once thought or fit a stereotype.

My black ass would rather troll the college bars buying $1 beer specials like Big Ben given the money and not hangout with the shane battiers, Kobe, or bottle poppers.
