:wtf: Rondo drove Boston's offense as did Westbrook for OKC

Rondo contributions to the Boston offense are questionable. I'm not firmly in the "he's a stat padder" camp but some of the evidence is undeniable. BUt more importantly, the offense for those teams could have been provided by any of the big 3. "DriveN" was probably a poor choice of words.

As for The Thunder, Westbrook was an integral part of the offense but he often was playing in an offguard role. More to the point, that team had players capable of making their own offense.

TP is closer to cp3, especially with jewnosebli being so streaky this season. Shutting him down would be the best bang for the buck. And quite frankly, he should be easier to shut down that westbrook, Westbrook is in his "young, athletic, unguardable" era. When TP takes a few hits, he tends to back off, like he did in 2004 against the lakers. Once TP backs up, the spurs become beatable.

Garnett averaged 20 and 10 last playoffs... Ray Allen struggled with his ankle injury and didn't shoot well, Pierce had some moments but he bad a bum knee.

And Tony Parker in 2004 couldn't hit a jump shot, so of course backing him out of the lane was easy. Now he is automatic and that opens up his driving lanes... esp against the Heat who have let elite PGs get those kind of buckets in the past.
