When looking for a job...would you follow through to an employer

even if they told you they will contact you if there are any other openings? Would you still call/email them after not hearing nothing from them for about a week?

whats the fine line between letting them come to you, and being persistent?

depends with the job I guess. I'm only 18 so I only have experience with part-time jobs but after a week with handing in my resume or having the interview I usually call them and ask to talk to a manager to see whats up.

o nah this for a full time position, but yea its just kinda wierd....hr told me they would be gone for the holidays so it wasnt really a week in work days, but I just felt like checking on her regardless
