My youngest son use to drink it by the gallon. I'd have to go get two gallons like once a week.

Sometimes that shyt would spoil way before the expiration date for unknown reasons. From my experience, it only has a shelf life of about 7-10 days then you got to throw that ish out.

Milk spoils easily. Don't drink it straight out of the carton.

Also, in the grocery, someone could have left your carton out of the fridge, or left the entire fridge door open.

If it keeps happening, it's a sign that your home refrigerator is slowly getting fukked up.

Did you keep it Refrigerated? Also be sure to check the brand 'cause I've noticed this happens with one or two brands I bought, but then again I live in the Caribbean where store bought milk is imported, and usually has a shelf life of about 2 weeks max. The few that I've seen that are good for atleast 3 weeks to a full month, usually go bad before the expiration date, which might be due to poor refrigeration on my part, but I'm done wasting money doing the science and just fukking with that Box milk 'cause it not only has a longer shelf life, but at a smaller quantity (Two bowls of cereal) I can complete it as opposed to having the whole thing waste on me like a Gallon would.

I don't drink milk, but my daughter does with cereal and I've been buying organic for a while now. It's more expensive, but lasts longer, so it evens out. Haven't tried a milk alternative that she likes. Rice, oat, almond and soy have all been a fail. Luckily she's moving away from cold cereal breakfasts, so I don't have to buy it at all really.
