I worked at a MSP, where ppl got a salary
I met up with my old coworkers for dinner and we were talking about the job
Things said: You know how much I made for this company? The owner cares about himself but he don't care about me

Said employee tried to quit, and then got a raise and big promotion when they tried to dip

Another coworker was like, he volunteered to work on the weekend, and didn't even get no money for it because he was salary

And talked about how they don't do bonuses

Do you think if ppl get broker and broker in America, things will change?

Usually if you’re needed and you put in to quit, they’ll try to do something cheap to keep you (bonus, 5k more, etc)

I don't belong to a union but I do support them. The pendulum has swung too far to the advantage of corporations that younger generations are hopefully waking up to why unions were created in the 1st place.

Thing is, got to be valued at your company. Finding another job is usually how Ive been going up in pay my entire career. As soon as I would put in a 2 weeks or they find out that im entertaining other companies, is when the perks come.

But it takes time usually unless someone higher vouches for you.. at least this is how I maneuvered as a black man

I worked at juice bottling company that Caribbean owned. I stood there putting bottles in hot pots of water with no break for 12 hours. Didn't hear a peep about socialism from them Jamaicans.
