He can absolutely play CB2...doesn't change the fact he's the best slot corner in the league by a mile though

Any truth to these Daboll speculations?
About as much truth as the Doug speculation :heh:

Daboll coached Jalen in college for a year but other than that he has no ties to anything in the Eagles organization, would be very odd for him to be brought in as a consultant mid-season. Bills and Patriots are the teams where those dots connect (like Saleh consulting for GB last year because him and LaFleur came up together) but McDermott already shot that down and it sounds like they have beef :pachaha:

(Dak, Pickens and the Cowboys shock the Eagles in Jerry World with 21 Point Comeback to split season Series)

(After an Explosive 1st half the Eagles Offense went conservative and was shut out in the 2nd half. AJ Brown had one of his best performances)

(Sirianni gets the heat from Fans and Media as his OC Hire Kevin Patullo continues to face criticism for the Offensive Issues)

*The Philadelphia Eagles fall to 8-3 on the season. This matches the combined loss total for all of last year. Cowboys still lead the All Time Series 75-59. They still lead the NFC BEAST by 3 games but fall to #2 in the Conference after the Rams beat the Bucs. Eagles lose in their Kelly Green Retro Jersey for the first time and fall to 4-1.

*ADVERSITY ONLY SHOWS WHO YOU REALLY ARE: After a week full of Drama, Jalen Hurts loses his 3rd start over the last 25 games. He passed for a season high 39 attempts. Jalen Hurts still leads the league with only 1 interception on the season.

*ASCENDING AJ: AJ Brown had one of his best games of the season with over 100 yards and TD.

*DICING DEFENSE: After a shutting out the Cowboys most of the 1st half, the Defense struggled to stop Dak and Pickens in the 2nd Half

*CONSERVATIVE COACHING: Sirianni and Patullo played that game not to lose. The Eagles Offense went way to conservative in the 2nd half.

*RUN THE BALL: The Eagles rushed for a season low 17 total carries. Saquon only had 10 carries in the game.

*TURNOVER TROUBLE: Saquon fumbles for the first time of the season. Special Teams also cost a fumble. The Eagles have the lowest turnovers in the entire league.

*HOLDING THE LINE: The O-Line is getting heat for injuries and constant rotations that hasn't been as strong as previous years.

*AS THE NFC BEAST TURNS: The Boys saved their season with their Comeback win against the Eagles in Jerry World. They remain in 2nd Place at 5-5-1. Washington was on a Bye Week and play the Broncos this week they are in 3rd Place at 3-8. The GMen went to the wire with the Lions but lost in overtime to fall to 2-10. The GMen became the 1st team of the NFL Season to be eliminated from Playoff Contention. The Eagles remain #1 at 8-3.

They have nobody to blame but themselves for this NFC BEAST Fukkery. This should have been a 38-24 type blowout. But they got up big and decided to play too conservative and hold the lead. They did not run the ball enough which is our staple. They had Jalen throwing 39 times and Saquon only rushed for 10 carries. That is completely out of wack so Sirianni and Patullo deserve the heat. Defense started good for the most part. Yes they gave up a lot of yards in the end but holding the Cowboys to 24 points when they normally score 40 at home is good. It took the whole game for the Cowboys to catch up to 21 points so they were holding just getting burned too much in the passing game. The Offense lost this game, the Cowboys should not have even been able to catch up. Give Dak and Pickens their props, they got behind the defense and did some damage. Cowboys Defense also did a good job with 2nd half adjustments.

I'm done complaining about Patullo, there is no way Saquon should only have 10 carries in a game especially when your up 3 scores. The Eagles had a chance to bury the Cowboys and end their season and they let them claw back in. Alright Boys, you're alive for now but your margin for error is zero. The Eagles just have win a few more games and they will still clinch the Division. All that win did was put them in the Wild Card Race which they are still behind many other teams. But a win is a win and they got it so I'll give The Boys their due. Their backs were against the Wall and they responded. Obviously the Cowboys were desperate and knew a loss all but ended their season. I didn't think we would sweep the entire Division but they shouldn't have lost to the GMen. The Boys normally split with us so this isn't a shocking result. Dak does have a strong record at home against the Division.

Terrible loss but everything is still on track. I had a bad feeling about this game because of all the Media Drama and Hit pieces that were going on against the team. I thought Jalen and AJ did great in the 1st half and blame the coaches for not adjusting and running the ball in the 2nd half. Smitty also had some good catches. Way too any penalties on the O-Line which hasn't played that great this year. Stouland normally escapes critics because the O-Line has been good for years but there's been issues. Quick turnaround with a scrappy Bears team on Black Friday. I have nothing negative to say about the Bears. They are playing well this year and Caleb is having a good sophomore season. With that said, The Eagles need to get back in the win column fast. They lost some ground in the Conference race with the Rams winning. We still hold the tiebreaker so they just need to finish with a better or same record as the Rams. 49ers, Bears and Seattle also have 8 wins so it's going to be a fight to get that Bye Week. As for the Division, the Eagles were 4 games up before the loss. They are still up big, just win a few more games and lock it up.
