Another hard fought road win. Get healthy. Move on to the next one.

Jaelen is a bad boy.
Ten Observations:

1 - What a pathetic decision to go for it on 4th & 6 with 33 seconds left...Sirianni has to make better decisions, idc what the analytics say, punt the ball

2 - Jaelen Phillips with a great debut...we finally got consistently good edge play...Nolan Smith, Phillips, Hunt & BG all made good plays tonight

Obviously dont be in here too much but been watching Jaelen since college since he played for Hurricanes also so last 5 years up close.. He is CERTIFIED DOG.. Just a little background, he was #1 player in country coming out of high school and committed to UCLA, played freshman year and looked good, then after flipped on scooter had freak accident and tried but retired from football.. Had to get real job and was like :huhldup:at his pops law office. Dont think UCLA would clear him so he portaled out. He looked like a skinny crackhead when he got to miami but sat out a year and came back a monster.. He was supposed to tag team with Buffalo Bills DE Greg Rousseau but covid hit and Rousseau sat out as he already had 1st round grade.

Nobody knew what to expect but Phillips did work and with already crazy measureables and athleticism he played himself into draft pick also. Dolphins grabbed him and Im sure ya aware of him in nfl from there. He was gonna take off while having great season but had nasty achillies injury then knee injury in back to back seasons. When on field he is high effort player, but his athleticism and strength make him a problem. He has speed but doesnt really beat with bend, more speed to power and really high effort. Dude goes all out on field.. Surrounded by rest of dline, he will cause havoc just because of motor and athleticism. Obviously want to see him ball out and get a 2nd contract, hope he can stay healthy to make it there. Freak athlete who has had bad injury history.

I didn't follow him in college...but I remember we played Miami a few yrs ago and it was the only time I felt Lane was overmatched in a game...he was incredible when he played us, so I thought highly of him

He gives us exactly what we need opposite of Nolan and Jalyx Hunt...a speed to power guy that can attack the inside shoulder of OTs

Lane? Which team?

Yea he is supreme athlete when he is right who redlines at all times on the field.. Hope he can be productive before his body breaksdown fr.

Our Lane, Lane Johnson, the best RT in the league
Ooo got you. I thought you were referring back to college.

Yea I think I remember that game, that dolphin team was actually talented besides Tua and might have been a build before that game. They caught injury bug later and window closed fassssssst for them tho.

While the Eagles should be focused on getting the first-round bye, it can’t be taken for granted how they’re closing in on the first NFC East repeat title since 2004. The Eagles’ magic number (meaning, the combined number of Eagles wins PLUS Dallas Cowboys losses) required to clinch the division is five. If the Eagles win their next two games (vs. Lions, at Cowboys) and the Cowboys lose their next two games (at Las Vegas Raiders, vs. Eagles), the Birds can clinch the NFC East as soon as Week 13 with either a Cowboys loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Thanksgiving OR an Eagles win over the Chicago Bears on Black Friday.
