Yeah, those coaches don't really exist. Josh McDaniels is the only modern coach that fits that category and that's after two failed attempts as HC and the backing out on Indy fiasco.


All it takes for a Mike McDaniel to get a second opportunity is one good season, same way Kliff became a top candidate again after Jayden's rookie campaign. People were down on Kellen after how Dallas dismissed him + the lost year with LAC and we saw how none of that mattered with one good bounce back season.
