Ahhh... I stand corrected.
....has a very subtle Tribe influence to it (maybe not so subtle), even the video reminds me of Tribe (with Quest playing Qtip)

I remember when they were up at WNYU early '95, and Quest said they did like 11 versions. I think I have all of them on cassette.
The Roots were untouchable, to me, between '94-'99. They just did everything the right way back then. It's so wild to see that they had it at a ridiculously high level that early in their career.
