I hate that phrase and any variation of it. It's so shortsighted and illogical.

Yeah, slavery was over with hundreds of years ago.....but things havent exactly been fair or even close to it since then.

Black people could have land back then, but anytime white people wanted they could come in and burn the house down, kill the man, rape the women, and then take over the land as their own.....all with NO repercussions whatsoever.
Then of course they pass the land down to their kids and so on & so forth up thru today. Nowdays they can sell the land for a couple million dollars to developing contractors to build a Wal-mart or shopping center, etc.


Anytime black ppl had gotten organized amongst ourselves, like say Black Wall Street, the white people who were upset they weren't making the same amount of money as the blacks, came in and burned the entire area to the ground.....again with NO repercussions. And that was barely even 100 years ago.

And we don't need to go into the past 60-70 years of hangings/lynchings, educational disadvantages, racial profiling, etc etc etc................................etc

When people say that i would tell them to try that sh1t with a Jewish person and tell them the Holocaust was a only a little over 1/2 a century ago and watch that cac walk away lookin like they just stepped out the ring with Tyson in his prime.

Honestly bruh, I don't think all of them are.

I just think some of them are literally blind to what goes on b/c they've had it so easy or they've yet to live long enough to see true injustice unfold.

In their mind, hard work ALWAYS = success, b/c their grandparents did it or their parents did it...and nothing else factors into it including race.
