Couldn't have said it better myself...their racial oppression transforms to fit their new ideas and technology of the time and space...black racial formation and transformation theory...we just finished reading Solomon Northup's narrative this week again and everytime I read it, I see that the meticulous nature of the punishment to labor relationship that cacs developed for slaves is exactly how it is today in society, just transformed to fit modernity...

the economic side of this shyt is amazing, its like they built a permanent underclass. Think about it:
free labor for a century to build those first industries in the new world --->then slaves given nothing after freedom --->black land confiscated/ usurped ---->black business, industries, etc. (black wallstreet, rosewood etc.) systematically undermined or straight up destroyed --->education in the inner city turned to garbage... and so on
We aint even meant to prosper brehs
yup when you think of it, that wealth passed down
example look at the kennedy compound, kennedys acquired that in 1926
, these old hand me down stocks and bonds, insurance policies etc.all these rich white families
i hate when they say that bullshyt because most of us aren't thinking about slavery. what we're worried about is the long-stemming effects of white supremacy, jim crow, and the continued systematic racism and prejudice that exist today. they want us to ignore the past and behave just as they do without a tenth of the wealth. they want to continue to underfund our schools and deny blacks gainful employment; while pretending like we're inherent criminals when some choose to break the law thej get ahead.
they basically want us to accept our spot as a permanent underclass, even though the long-stemming labor of our ancestors built this countries wealth; and allowed all these fukking immigrants from europe, mexico and africa to have the right to come here and frown upon us.
that's why i'm so dumbfounded by the civil rights movement, wish i could have been there to understand their thought process. i'm just mind boggled trying to understand why blacks wanted to socially integrate w/these caveman. we had a good shot at reparations, or even possibly getting a settlement like israel, but it was blown completely cus nikkas just wanted live, shop, eat amongst neanderthals.
