When will Beats headphones go out of style

These things are going on 5+ years now. I thought they would end up being a fad, but their design is still going strong.

I don't know. It's an overpriced but decent sounding set of headphones. Problem is, most people aren't audiophiles and can hear the difference between headphones especially with rap and pop music, they think price indicates quality plus they look nice too. I have a pair that I got for free and I like them, but there are better headphones out there.

Those are pretty good ones. Along with the beats studios I have the AudioTechnica A900X. Got them with a company discount for $160, I swear by them too.

AudioTechnica A900X
AKG q701 and k701
Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro
Sennheiser HD 518

There are lots but these are all cheaper than beats and just as good or better and look good too. These are just a few that I liked. I considered all of them before I bought the audio technica a900x's

If you want a more flat sounding. I think an issue you may run into with some audiophiles and their headphone suggestions they may not take into account the uses of different headphones. A decent number of audiophiles are probably producers and/or engineers and the way they use their headphones for those purposes arent the same as what your regular listener use them for.

I would say this, Im not a big fan of the beats solos

Audio technica m50s, I had a pair of them. I like the 900s a little better but you can't go wrong with the m50s
