I'd say the Patriots comeback was better than any of those, and I'm a fan of the Red Sox and Bruins.
-Red Sox had some amazing pitching, and still had two of the best sluggers in recent history. They also had four games to string it together.
-Bruins loss was pretty bad, but there's more variance in a hockey game with bad bounces, deflections, etc. They also weren't the HEAVY favorite for that series.
-Cavs still had the best player in the NBA with his supporting cast really stepping up. They never really ran into an issue with time constraints.
The Falcons were up TWENTY-FIVE points with just a few minutes to go in the third quarter. Running the ball and keeping the clock moving in a FOUR possession game should not have been that difficult. If they were to just run the ball every play for four possessions and not get a single first down, they would have still burned off SIX minutes of game clock.
The more I think about that game, the worse and worse that loss becomes. The GOAT stepped it up and lead America's Team to the greatest comeback and victory in NFL history.
