I see this year or next year. By the end of the decade beards will be out and clean shaven will be in vogue again.
Its a cycle. In the late 90s, early 2000s, 1996-2005... beards were not poppin like that. 2008-2010 they kind of came back, and 2011-2015 beards exploded in popularity. I remember in 2013-2015 plenty of articles about beards. The last two years, 2014-2015 were the absolute peak of the beard trend in recent history.
1850-1915 beards/facial hair was in
from 1915 to 1970 beards were out of style. Clean shaven was in, short hair was in.
1970-1990 beards/facial hair/longhair/afros/dreads were in.
1990-1995 kind of a transition era between hairstyle/facial hair. Beards/facial hair were getting less popular.
1995-2007 clean shaven was in.
2007-2010 transition era
2011-2015 really was the era of the beards.
Give the white man credit for this one ,because the facial hair/beards came back into mainstream society mostly because of the growing popularity of the hipster subculture.
