Bret Hart and HBK were in their 30s in the mid nineties. It seems like that’s kind of the peak wrestling age :manny:

A wrestlers prime isn’t until there mid 30’s if there healthy

Not saying Melo should wait till that long it’s just what it is
What are you basing this on?

Most of The biggest stars in the last 25 years;
  • The Rock (26)
  • Stone Cold (most of his career outside the WWF)
  • The bytch ass HHH (30)
  • Batista (36 late bloomer...was in OVW at 30)
  • John Cena (27)
Most won world titles before 30.

Jeff Hardy was on the big what ifs...still is one of the youngest IC Champions, ever--like 24.

My point isn't their peaks, it's that you can clearly tell they were on their way BEFORE 30.

Kurt Angle didn't even start til his Olympic career was done and was just 30 (1998) when he debut.

NXT is pulling dudes right out of college and can't even find TV time for them.

The issue with Melo (which this thread ain't really about) is he's 30 and been in the WWE since he was like 25 after being on the indy circuit form 14-21). Ricochet made the marks mad just by telling the truth about his future...the WWE thinks being there should be the goal, not thriving.

Again, this ain't about Melo, but, I'm thinking about the future if this keeps up.

We watching ANOTHER Seth Rollins faction "Taking over the company." And Bron is now barking like an idiot after people were calling him the next Brock Lesnar a year ago. I just hope it's a vehicle to put over the young talent.

Again, ya'll missing the point;

Bret didn't even get into the WWF til he was 30 (1987).

Shawn was THE GUY and World Champion by 31. on top of multiple Tag and IC title runs.

The WWE changed the way they picked their superstars in the early 2000's with OVW. That's was an entirely different era.

They've got a whole NIL program and a Performance Center.

That wasn't built for ex-AEW mid carders and Indy hypes.
