My brother and i had a conversation about women who wear makeup and weaves after a facebook post he made. I wear makeup. I don't wear it daily but when I do its not over applied. I told him that makeup is like the finishing touch to me anyway.

I always thought this was a weird thing to complain about. If you don’t like women who wear makeup, don’t date them. Do you have a problem with men getting tattoos? What’s wrong with your natural skin? Why does anyone need pictures and words on their skin? It’s because they want to look a certain way. The same applies to makeup. Looks matter, and the better you look, you get more opportunities.
Personally, I like very feminine women, and I like women who wear makeup. I’ve known my wife since high school. She and her sisters wore makeup, kept their hair done, nails done, etc. I grew up seeing my mom and grandma wear makeup, had to sit in the salon, etc. My sister always wore makeup. Maybe I’m just used to it because of the women I grew up with. Seeing women with makeup is normal to me.
