The most overdramatic talking point that weirdos and losers managed to gain sympathy over. Boo-hoo. Everybody gets teased. Where's the sympathy for the kids that came to school with empty stomachs? Where's the sympathy for the kids who got misdiagnosed and put on drugs they didn't need to be in the first fukking place? I'm sick of hearing about this shyt. You talk white, you talk fukking white. I mostly agree with this but you should be able to talk about getting teased for your dialect without invoking empty stomachs and poverty. It goes both ways, I moved to a white school and got told I sound white by Black kids who had never lived in a Black community because I didn't use slang
. Never got called white in nyc. Kids are ignorant.This shyt drives me crazy lmao, 'code switching' and 'job interview voice' . There are many professional Black people who speak professionally or corporate and are still very Black with their expressions and demeanor.
