Since 1994 they have been up and running as basically a monopoly of this online auction shyt.

EVERYTHING else that was up near or around at that time...

AOL - :flabbynsick:
MSN - :flabbynsick:
YAHOO - :flabbynsick:
NAPSTER is now a part of Rhapsody - :flabbynsick:
REAL PLAYER - :flabbynsick:
NETSCAPE - :dead:

Anything else have an incredible run like this? Obviously Google is up there being the top since 1998 or so, but DAMN.

Amazon is another one.

Can't believe I've been using them since 2000 (Grade 10 :flabbynsick: First purchase was an auction for a local copy of NFL2K for Dreamcast :stylin: :stylin:)

Their run is pretty incredible, but what I noticed in all this time I've been using them is they are quick to adapt. They aligned with Paypal, as Paypal initially advertised for a whole bunch of other merchants on their website.

yup. I remember I thought ubid was a good alternate. :what:
That's why I made this thread...there isn't even a good ALTERNATIVE to eBay right now and that's mind boggling to me.

Amazon is the best online, but there is competition out there. eBay on the other hand has the whole damn game locked down.

remembers when you can get direct credit card billing on ebay. Nothing like getting your money the day after a sell
Yeah those fools are double dipping hard...I am shocked they haven't been sued for that yet
