Yo! Any Argentinian's on here? Get in here and answer these questions!

Why are there no black people in Argentina, unlike Brazil, Colombia, or even Bolivia and neighboring Uruguay? Studies show that between 4% and 6% of Argentineans have African genes, but few people there are aware of their country’s African roots, which were largely cut through a series of epidemics and wars that killed huge numbers of what was a sizeable African population until the 19th century.

Where are Argentina’s black people?

Did them Nazi's in Argentina wipe out the Black population?:mjcry:

I visited Beunos Aires a few years back. Great city, amazing food, and dope af women. The city was an extension of Western Europe. Beautiful architecture etc. After ww2 most of the axis of evil countries immigrated to Argentina. Spanish, Italians, and Germans came to Argentina (aka nazis and fascists). They brought their culture with them. I didn’t see many, if any, black people while I was down there. I also went to iguazu falls on the border of Paraguay and Brazil and same story.

argentina in the late nineteenth early twentieth century promoted immigration from white countries especially. it seems like an extremely racist country. i dont actually know about any of this shyt tho dont take my word on it

So did Brazil and other countries. Immigration from Italy and Germany was highly prized b/c these groups brought skills with them. Chile was practically built by German immigrants. Slaves were sent to places where agriculture required hard labor (sugar cane plantations, cotton, etc.). I don't think Argentina was ever that, not to mention Spain never did sizeable colonization of Africa like Portugal did.

They're out there. Might not pass this site's reverse brown paper bag test but it's whatever.
