Memo to Cruz - sign that deal before you end up as the WR's coach at UMASS in two years.

I feel bad about smith :deadmanny: Eli would of looked out for him and let him take his time to recover .instead he wanted to rush back for i think a short time gain of 1 mil :ld: he would be a good third receiver with his hands . Hope one of these wrs finally step upm

Came here to post this :lawd:. Hopefully he beasts this year in order to get that big check next year

Looking for bounce back years from Nicks, Tuck and Webster...I wonder what we will get from Terrell Thomas - before the injury he was a beast!

Q: Pugh, the first round pick, is expected to start eventually. How tough will it be to unseat David Diehl at right tackle?

Gilbride: Just think of the man. The man is not going to give up the job. He was a low draft pick when he got here and no one expected much of him and he’s been, what, playing (11) years and been a starter? I think it will be very difficult to unseat him. But certainly Justin was brought in for just that reason -- to be in a starting position. Not necessarily to unseat David because David can move inside and be a guard for us. It looks like Justin has enough ability down the road. Until you put the pads on, you never know. But it looks like he moves well enough, that he’s intelligent enough, it looks like he’s focused, professional, determined. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t become a good player for us down the road.

Hakeem Nicks has been trying to make up for lost time this offseason by working out with Eli Manning. Nicks said he worked out with Manning twice this week and has more training sessions planned with the Giants quarterback in the coming weeks.

Nicks gets work in with Eli - Giants Blog - ESPN New York

"Getting overshadowed by some of the big storylines right now is some good news for the New York Giants. After sharing how good he felt both physically and mentally, Big Blue defensive captain Justin Tuck toldESPN New York that his teammate and good friend Jason Pierre-Paul is feeling good after undergoing back surgery.

"I speak to him all the time," Tuck said. "[He's] doing well."

Tuck also said he's not the only one hearing the positive news; others have heard the same. He's also been around to see Pierre-Paul work on his rehabilitation."

Not too shabby last night. Sorry about that Adams dude, but to be honest, what real impact would he have made? Eli to Cruz :wow: Moore doing some damage, Randle stepping up. We MUST improve our blocking and our LB corps gotta step up they gonna look :flabbynsick: against running teams.

We got a kicker who can make it from the 47? :blessed:

I think I might go to the game on the 24 and watch Big Blue make the Jets look like the scrubs they are:bryan:

Saw some good and bad things last night. Cruz and Eli in top form. I like how Randle played considering the reps he was getting in camp to build chemistry with Eli. The running game needs work with Wilson and the O-Line. A. Brown did better minus the fumble. Our pass blocking was fine but we need to open some holes for our backs. On D, you know last year we were soft in the middle with opposing RB's racking up yards. We've got a deep core of Defensive Lineman to combat that and they played ok but our LB's need to step it up and pursue better especially on the outside. The secondary did fine and Corey W. didn't get burned :whew: he was just a step late from making a big play.. Moore with the block was Piff. All in all we got some things to fix and can we get the ball in the end zone in goal line territory because field goals are not going to cut it :damn:
