And yeah, Lupe and Hov had similar flows/rhyming style in that period

You'd have to know the history between Prolyfic and Lupe to really get it. Prolyfic has done everything from threaten Lupe physically to trying to hurt his working relationships with other artists (hence the Ghostwriting for Hov accusations)

Because it's true. Lupe was around Jay early 2000s to 2010. He even said in an interview that he'll be in Jay's sessions and give him joints here and there.
