Good team not epic or anything but very good team with talent everywhere

Their defense just made the 2nd best QB look complete trash. They would eat most of the other QBs from the past few Superbowls alive.
55 (should have been 60 but missed FG and 2 point conversion) and 40 points in the NFCCG and SB with a number 1 defense

Got off to a shaky start, the early bye seemed to help them out, they were dominant after that and only lost one game the rest of the way.

early 00s Bucs and Ravens might keep it close defensively but dont have the offense to match
Greatest show on turf didnt have the defense and our defense woulda held them in check

We beat almost every patriots team
We beat every Chiefs team
We beat both Giants teams
To me, the '14 Pats, the Seahawks, Steelers and Packers prolly the only better/equal teams

Better than the '23 Chiefs. And the '22 Chiefs. And the '21 Rams, '20 Bucs, '19 Chiefs...
Better than the '18 Pats, '17 Eagles, '16 Pats, '15 Broncos, '14 Pats. I'd agree that the only "recent" team this good was the '13 Hawks and that was 11 years ago, so I feel comfortable saying the '24 Eagles are pretty clearly the best team of the past decade...

I could keep going, this Eagles team is better than most recent champions of the past 25 years...
The '13 Hawks was an evolutionary defense, as great as this Eagles D was, that Hawks D was loaded with Hall Of Fame talent at every single position, it was insane. They'd likely fukk this Eagles offense up...
But these Eagles were better than most teams in a long time, they are a historically good 1-year team...

This can be argued as the Greatest Eagles Team Ever. They scored 95 points in the NFC Championship and Super Bowl which is an NFL Record. They had 13 Turnovers on Defense in the Playoffs. Saquon rushed for almost 500 yards in the playoffs. Jalen put up crazy overall numbers. It was also the best Rushing Offense in NFL History. They are also one of 3 teams to ever win 18 games in a season (85 Bears, 07 Perfect season Pats). They beat the two-time Defending Champion. Yes this is one of those type of teams, very historical.

he wasn't weak by any stretch...This Eagles offense ain't doing nothing with that defense. First of all, while Philly has a strong receiving core, that Seattle secondary was significantly better than Philly's receivers. Those dudes weren't getting any room to breathe...
That offensive line Philly has is great but they weren't pushing around Seattle's front 7. They couldn't really push around KC's, they woulda had to win off the strength of the pass game. And '24 Jalen ain't '14 Brady...
Seattle that year had a really good offensive line but this Eagles front would give them problems. Marshawn was at his peak then so he'd find some success there that the Chiefs run game couldn't...
It would be a low scoring game, but that '13 Hawks defense was on a different plane. They'd win most simulations of that match up, they obviously played with a violence that these '24 Eagles D, despite being really good, they don't match the violence that team had...
