To be honest I don't see how that takes away from his work lol. I thought that whole thing was overblown as he pulled out the notebook AFTER he had conceded the battle, he only did that so the people who payed could hear more bars (cause he'd forgot his) rather than short change the people who paid him for the battle and the crowd. In hindsight it would have been better to just concede if he'd forgotten his shyt but it wasn't that big a deal.
Maybe to you, but a lot of people regard Canibus as one of the GOAT lyricists, also rank him as having one fo the GOAT diss tracks, even though I don't on the latter if they meand 2nd Round.
even if those were 2 tangibles to go by, still doesnt make him top even 50.. theres alot of great lyricists, and great diss records.. hell, the Outlawz were on one of the greatest diss records..

I didn't say they were enough to make him top 50, I'm just saying he is mentioned as being among the best at certain things. Was a reply to what was originally said. And to me he's in a top 20 somewhere, he has a good body of work to me with the debut (which I feel is very underrated), Rip The Jacker, Melatonin Magik, Mic Club, 2000 BC, Lyrical Law, etc, which I enjoyed not to mention several others. He displayed some excellent lyrical skills and content and songs in his career to me.

Lyrically though was up there. Artist wise maybe never top 5, but lyrically he was a high level.
