He’s going to the Hall that’s not a discussion but where does he rank all time at his position.
One of the 5 best shooters in the history of the game. Textbook perfect form
In his prime was an above average to good defender
A Key Cog on one of the best teams ever both individually 2015-2017/2018 Warriors and this dynasty as a whole.
“Game 6” Klay
2.)Some criticisms
Not great at creating his own offense. This was exposed during the 2016 finals.
Not a good passer
Wasn’t great at drawing fouls
Has the game 6 reputation but generally speaking his game declines in the playoffs, despite never being the focus of opposing teams defenses. For example he was bad during the 2017 playoffs but the warriors were so loaded it didn’t matter
That being said where he does rank all time at his position? Is he on the backend off the top ten or outside of it? I think somewhere between 12-15 is fair
- 4× NBA champion (2015, 2017, 2018, 2022)
- 5× NBA All-Star (2015–2019)
- 2× All-NBA Third Team (2015, 2016)
- NBA All-Defensive Second Team (2019)
