Even bring it back didnt really pop,but by that time,his fan base was re-energized...
then go dj dropped and the rest was history...I didnt hear the carter files until recently..It wasnt bad,but the drought had some shyt on there
The Carter 1 might be the most personal album to me..Being a lil wayne stan and just witnessing the evolution of a rapper you supported with summer youth money as a teenager because you really wanted a nikka to win..These ny nikkas up here gave me grief about this nikka..now they fans and im not

I dont think Gillie is wack{jmo},but you cant deny the fact that Gillie indirectly saved Cash Money Records...
Wayne was at a crossroads and if he didnt pick up on the game/swag that gillie was giving him in the studio,there is no way in hell the Carter 1 would have turned out the way it did...Which basically saved Cash Money and actually revived the label...
