He was fueding with ziggler & aj styles.
He flopped as a champ. His match with ziggler was one of the worst ppv world title matches I had ever seen.
Aj took the title & did more than Ambrose ever did straight off the rip.

I never understood the hype besides his old John Moxely promos and his first post Shield promo, I've never gotten the hype for a champion Ambrose. He's one of the few people Bray Wyatt won a feud against.

They seem to book him like trash whenever he has a belt for some reason. The only time he was taken seriously was when he cashed in MITB, and after Austin pretty much told him he was gonna get got at SummerSlam, it was all downhill from there.
Ambrose is the kind of guy that really doesn't need a title to get over or maintain relevance. That's probably why his booking is always off whenever he holds one.

In a company where the goddamn Miz has been a champion, he's not even close to being at the bottom. As far as doing the most with the least, he's amazing. The WWE just won't invest in him a full, serious storyline.
