His earlier beat tapes stayed on heavy rotation,the newer stuff is a bit hit or miss.
He's undoubtedly talented and put the LA "Low end theory" type beats front and centre.
In my top 20 (perhaps 15).
however if the scope is widened from just hip hop type beats to other genres of contemporary music he's in the top 100.
Perfect for a lazy weekend with a fresh loud pack

Hes raw, but not my top ten, also def not for everyone. You gotta have an open mind to fukk with his music and many on here wont fukk with any production that isnt either boom bap or generic ass trap beats

Yes agreed,he fits into jazz,electronic, hip hop,soul.
I think that is his gift and curse.
not my top 10 in any of those genres,but his gift is that he is a immensely talented musician that is competent in which ever genre he choses to dabble in.
beat tapes from ten years ago sounding fresh,electronic/jazz tracks with palpable emotion,genre shifting remixes
I would like to hear his score for a big budget sci fi film
