No question about it being classic, but It's also iconic, prolly been sampled more than the sample itself (and dues are still lazily sampling it at that), and above all, it just rides. shyt is no doubt one of the smoothest beats of all time. shyt is haunting yet mysteriously elegant at the same damn time :mindblown:(those bells get me everytime :wow: ).

Even the outro is dope as simple as it is.

Top 5 for me. Lettuce discuss.

I ws thinkin about this the othe day listenin to the song. I think it's top 20.

Bay Area(Oakland specifically) got two top 20 beats of all time in I Got 5 On It and 93 til infinity and y'all still try to front on us.
I can't even deny this. Don't forget Humpty Dance too.

I grew up listening to east coast hiphop

but when I look back at all the hiphop I had from the early 90's, there is so much cali love in there its crazy

and I ain't even talkin that gangsta stuff

Pharcyde, Souls of Mischief, Luniz, Del the funkee homosapien, Casual, Cyress Hill, Digital Underground, King Tee, Funkdoobiest, Lootpack, Alkaholiks, ras Kass, etc

shiieett...I'm gonna go to youtube and watch some classics
