-He was a WCW star making the jump back to the WWF at the height of the Monday Night Wars and the crowd didn’t give a damn. Jarrett singlehandedly killed a hot audience with this garbage.

-He buried himself by admitting he couldn’t get over in either promotion.

-He used every cheap heat trick in the book (Shooting on the competition, racism, breaking the fourth wall, etc.) and there was nothing but groans of boredom.

-The only reactions he got in his entire promo was saying that he’d pack his bags and leave again and mentioning Stone Cold.

Dude was in his “prime” and they treated him like Brian Christopher in 2011

I sometimes go back and watch this promo when I need a good laugh. It fell so flat and was so awkward. The audience had no idea wtf was going on

This is one of the main reasons why I hate the "reality" aspect of wrestling.

A complete disaster. I actually felt bad for him at the time. It probably felt like a 60-minute promo to him.

He was working hard at it though, I'll give him that.

He was trying to look composed when he paused at the 1:45 mark but you know he had to be thinking: "How the fukk am I gonna save this?"

Bashed Debra - She goes on to get him more over than he's ever been

Bashed Austin for saying Ass - goes on to have the catchphrases don't PISS me off and slapnuts with accompanying t shirts

Bashed Shawn for relying on infantile attitude - becomes borderline comedy character with big boobs manager, who says silly things n breaks guiatrs after Jeff Jarret the serious wrestler doesn't get over.
