Since I started watching Raw again a few months ago, I realized that sometimes with one of the wrestlers "kicks" somebody else, there's a huge cracking sound that seems to come from somewhere outside of the ring.

At first I thought it was like back in the day when Shawn Michaels would hit his own leg when doing "Sweet Chin Music", but now it's way louder than that.

Are they using sound effects these days or what?

Thigh slaps. Probably sounds louder because of 1) mics and 2) most of the rappers doing superkicks aren't wearing long tights like Michaels was. :ld:

Saw a series of kicks in PWG between the Inner Machine Guns and Young Bucks that sounded ridiculously good. :banderas:
Rappers doing superkicks needs to be the next big internet sensation
