Is the future more promising or less promising for ppl mid 20s and younger? Will ppl get their pensions and social security when they retire at the current rate?

I think it's gonna be a period of adjusting once the reality kicks in that the consumers don't have the funds they used to, I think we're gonna embrace some forms of socialism whether the GOP wants to admit it or not. I don't think it's sustainable at this point for 100% capitalism, houses outta control, record number of people not dating, sexually involved, more and more people depending on government aid, GOP cancelled umployment benefits in several states and lawsuits popping up already.

People got time to reflect and think and they're realizing it's just not sustainable long term IMO, changes will have to get made. Trying to turn men into women and forced dudes to accept it, record high COL, companies paying little to nothing, something will have to be done.

The people who lost there lives did nothing wrong, the condo association knew they didn't have the money to fix it, tried to wait it out and it went down...

Expecting everyone to man up and accept it isn't working, same with blaming everything on blacks, after a while people will see the hustle.

Some form of socialism will come, when? IDK but I know it will come.

they don't give pensions and social security if your only job was tiktoker, only fans, instagram thot, youtuber and social media influencer.

Folks in their 20s will be the last generation that will find gainful employment until their retirement.

Automation will take 50% of jobs by the 2060s and the most prevalent jobs will be temporary.

There will be the poor who sustain off of UBI and sporadic work, the upper-class who are lawyers, politicians, upper management businessmen, writers, artists, athletes, etc and then the uber-wealthy who own most of the corporations and assets in the country.

There will be capitalism, but it won't be real capitalism. You'll get your UBI stipend, buy your food, liq, weed, and other little trinkets...but social mobility will be very minimal and relegated to the ultra-smart and ultra-cunning.

It's basically going to resemble feudalism (neo-fuedalism) with social safety nets so society doesn't outright revolt.

So if a person doesn’t “lvl up” now, they will pretty much be stuck in their position?

Not sure how familiar you are with feudalism, but...yeah...

You have 2 prevailing influences in the world right now, and both are undergoing a concentration of power with the few stacking the deck to favor themselves in perpetuity. You mix in AI, Automation, a preference for security and convenience over freedom and change...societies inevitably get there.

Automation for large companies but an eventual consumer shift to supporting small businesses/internet economy.

brands like Nike and Apple will remain juggernauts, but we will see a rise in smaller and more niche businesses as access to entrepreneurship is becoming easier :yeshrug:
