I think many are numb and apathetic. Also many of us are very selfish and individualistic. My uncle was telling me when he was in Vietnam it was damn near mandatory to dap up and greet any black soldier you saw or passed by. Like if you didn’t you would seriously be ran up on.

Most people don’t want to do the work unless it’s directly their fam or something.
