It blows my mind when I consider the fact that Pac was only 23 years old when Me Against the World dropped, 24 when he made AEOM and Makaveli.
The average rapper nowadays is 26, 27 when they start and usually don't hit their creative height till closer to 30 (J Cole is 30, KDot is 28, KRIT is 29, Wale is 31, Meek is 28, Rocky 27, Big Sean is 28, Drake 29, Future is 32, etc.) This dude wasn't even there yet and already making powerful music. When I think about the intellect/maturity of the average 25 year old person/artist these days compared to level Pac was already on, shyt is unreal.
The content of some of these records coming from 30 year old men is pathetic. Jay gave us Blueprint around 30. Nas had just given us Stillmatic and God's Son. Can you imagine the knowledge 30 year old Pac woulda been kickin? No tellin what coulda been.
