We'd definitely be better off. We'd be deeper in number. We'd have stronger families. A lot more positive role models for the youth.

Which is why WS would have invented smth as deadly if not more so! All their inventions have the same effect from crack to AIDS-why?

Black community was already fukked up
Probably be in the same position
There were no jobs

Exactly......

INTERGRATION did more damage to the black community than what the Crack era did...

So many black businesses was lost as Negroes made a campaign to go eat and shop with white folks in the suburbs

Nobody wanted to invest in the community much less buy homes

Paving the way for GENTRIFICATION

Above the fray.
Crack irreversibly damaged this country and the community. Made a bad situation ten thousand times worse.

I think because of the associations of aids with needle sharers, that fewer people with problems were going to try shooting H.
Crack was cheap, accessible, and smoked rather than shot.....expanded the base of potential drug users.

Also, expanded the base of potential drug sellers. Before then..I guess that you had to be brought into an existing crime organization or crew to have access to the connect or territory.
With crack, ANYBODY could buy drugs, make crack and set up shop somewhere. No order.

The death and violence was a direct result of the disorder among the criminal element.

We would be better off. Not where we want to be but closer than we are now.

Crack had an lasting effect that hurts us to this day. With that effect never coming to be we would of been in better shape.
