I believe it was a lot easier to build dynasties back in the days and opponents were not as loaded with talent.
What the Pats have been able to accomplish in the modern era is incredible.

So the pats had a fluke run to a superbowl only to lose by 5 touchdowns and another gsme ten years later where Brett Favre and company shifted on him...they were completely irrelevant in new england until Brady and beli showed up. Everyone up here cared more about Mo Vaughan and Nosemar Garciapara than Bledsoe and the pats
