Maryland has the 3rd best defense in the entire nation (FG% and PPG given up).

Our guards are too young or they aren't that good. Our bigs have been playing well and rebounding which has given us an edge in most of these games.

This is going to have to be a grind it out kind of team but you can't get far with bad guard play... it might cost us an NCAA tourney berth but when we get a PG next year.. watch out. Though, I hope Len stays, he needs to stay in school.

Barring a huge collapse by the team I dont see them missing the tournament. They'll win al the cupcake ACC games and I believe they'll either beat Duke and/or UNC at least once this season. Should finish in the top 3 in the ACC.

They got a 4 star recruit coming in at PG next year...

But then again, in the Tournament you need an experienced back court to win. If only Turgeon was here during the last bit of Gary's tenure.

nah, im just dismissing the "needs to get better" jargon. Dude needs to get paid, and he will. I cant see him coming back next year when he has a realistic chance at being the #1 pick.

BC, VT, UVA, Wake....now they arent "cupcake" teams but if MD plays the way they should I see them having no problems beating these teams. For some reason they play terribly in the 2nd half. That FSU loss was just , they had a 6min stretch where they didnt score a point and Miami wasnt a bad loss they're currently the top team in the ACC (4-0).
