Goes w/o saying that the first two on the PS1 are arguably the GOAT superhero games, but Spiderman 2 on the PS2/XBOX set a new precedent.
First time we could free roam in GTA fashion and it was amongst the first superhero game to incorporate random crime.
I remember hanging from an helicopter to get all the way to the Statue of Liberty.
The Bugle Missions were fun, too.

I don't really feel the magic from video games like that anymore, but I guess that can be attributed to the fact that I'm older.
