KOBE A WINNER .. AROD, NOT SO MUCH

IS AROD CONSIDERED ONE OF THE MOST CLUTCH PLAYERS OF ALL TIME IN HIS SPORT?

HOW BOUT KOBE??

:umad:
Convenient how you always say that the media and popular opinion is meaningless because it's all LeBron Stans but in the areas where Kobe is dikkridden, you're the first one to talk about it.

You mean like how they argue the MVP award is meaningless since it's a regular season award and then complain that Kobe only has one?

Not a Kobe fan but I gotta say him. Timmy is close but he never perserverd through things like Kobe did career wise which I thinks makes his career more noteworthy. Also Duncan lived in the same core system for many years while Kobe made it work in others. Duncan last several years were more falloff than Kobes. Plus I think the adoration crazy fanbase are a testament on some level to career success. Arod is not in the running I think to all the juicing and scandals, perceived lack of clutchness. Peyton is out because only 1 SB is publicly viewed as having his imprint and he is known for flaming out of the post season despite regular season accolades.

Yall keep bringing up Kobe being on shytty teams like that's to be applauded? I'm not saying it's his fault, his teams sucked but how does that add to his career?

Personally I think having a bunch of stans is minimal to career success. It's only because he was a guard and ppl dikk ride wing players more than any other. Iverson likely has more stans than 90% of current hall of famers yet there's plenty of players careers I'd take before his. I'd bet he'd trade every one of the stans for a ring shyt Kobe probably would disown all his stans for another dunk title let alone a mvp or championship :childplease:

I bring up his shytty teams to compare him to Duncan success. We have seen Kobe be successful in essentially two different systems. He has been down and up in his career which I think speaks a little about the value of his perseverance and success. It feels more earned and related to Kobe ability as a player IMO compared to Duncan. Duncan had the same 3 key people involved in his successes with a consistently competent organization to support. At the end of the day I feel like Kobe was not blessed with these gifts as much minus Shaq and managed legendary moments and survived a scandal to have arguably the best years of his career follow it. So his plight and success seems more notable to me.
