Which album do you think is better, The Chronic or Doggystyle?

Original Doggystyle with G'z Up Hoez Down is almost unrivaled but if you go back and listen to The Chronic...Let Me Ride, Lyrical Gangbang, Stranded on Death Row, bytches Aint shyt, Deez Nutz and then Nuthin But A G Thang I might have to reconsider.

If you asked anyone under the age of 18 they would say "The Chronic because its a landmark hip hop album, and I think it has aged better"

Chronic was more of a compilation anyway. Doggystyle feels more like an album from a solo artist IMO. Both u could argue are DPG albums since the features and production but for me track for track I have to go with snoop. to a couple of the greatest albums ever

If u wanna be technical most old heads would say the chronic because its older ..

Nah because younger hip hop fans have basically sifted through 90s hip hop and chosen a few albums that they fukk with - The Chronic, Illmatic,36 etc.

They write off stuff like Cuban Linx, Doggystyle, etc because they dont have the time to listen to everything that came out in the 90s.

Ive noticed on this site, albums like Doggystyle and Cuban Linx get talked about alot more then usual.

i got a playlist on my Ipod from both albums mashed together called "Dr Snoop-ChronicStyle".

I like both even.

most people actually go with Doggystyle. even my english teacher in middle school enjoyed that lp but the chronic is much more to me.

This is tough. Doggystyle is my favorite hip hop album of all time though.
