Which album was better? Carter 1 or Carter 2?

Many consider both albums classics. Wayne definitely stepped his bars up tremendously with both efforts.
But which was the better album?

I'm goin with Carter 2. Wayne was lyrically in a fukkin zone that whole album. Production was on point as well.

The only nod I will give Carter 1 is the overall consistent feeling/sound and continuity of the album.

I never thought of them as classics personally
If I had to pick it would be Carter 2 as well

I'm going Carter 1. There are some jams on Carter 2 but I never go back to it. Alotta skips on there for me. Carter 1, I can pretty much let it play.

I actually had to write a paper on Carter 2 for a music class in college. I shytted on the album horribly but some of it grew on me. It was hard to get used to a Wayne album with no Mannie production at the time.

I think Carter 2 is better and I think Wayne was slightly improved as an emcee on that album as well. Although he was beasting on Carter 1 also.
