Was watching an old inside the nba clip where they did an all time draft and was wondering which squad would work out the best. Which of these squads do you think would win it all assuming they were in the playoffs after playing a full season to develop some semblance of chemistry.

I would say either MJs squad or the Kobe/Lebron/Pippen squad. The defense would be next level.

Team 1:
Allen Iverson
Moses Malone
Tim Duncan
Reggie Miller
James worthy
Jerry Lucas
Dave cowens
Deron Williams
Kevin durant
Bob Lanier

Team 2:
Larry Bird
Shaq
Kevin Garnett
John Havlicek
Bon Cousy
Nate Archibald
Sam jones
Robert Parish
Paul Peirce
Tom Heinsohn

Team 3:
Michael Jordan
Hakeem
John Stockton
David Robinson
Charles Barkley
Jason Kidd
Alonzo Mourning
Ray Allen
Dywane Wade
Steve Kerr

Team 4:
Wilt
Oscar Robinson
Dominique Wilkins
Isiah Thomas
Kevin mchale
Patrick Ewing
Alex English
Chris Mullin
George Gervin
Chris Webber

Team 5:
Bill Russel
Kobe
Scottie Pippen
lebron James
Karl Malone
Steve Nash
Dwight Howard
Dirk
Dennis Johnson
Grant Hill

Team 6:
Kareem Abdul Jabar
Magic Johnson
Dr. J
Jerry west
Clyde Drexler
Gary Payton
Connie Hawkins
Elvin Hayes
Elgin Baylor
Kenny Smith

I would say Team 3 if they are getting 06 Wade.

Best interior defense by far with Olajuwon, Robinson, and Mourning.

Most versatile lineups. Good floor spacing with Allen, Kerr, Stockton, and Barkley/Olajuwon down low. Pure PGs in Kidd/Stockton who can play off-ball.

MJ to close out games.

Yeah, Team 3.

It's coming down to team 5 or team 3. But I'll go with team 3

Team 3 has the greatest player of all time, the greatest center of all time (IMO) and a top 3 greatest PF of all time (IMO) and a top 5 greatest PG of all time

Team 5 has a top 5 greatest center of all time, the greatest SF of all time, the 2nd greatest SG of all time and a top 3 greatest PF of all time

It's basically
C- Hakeem
PF- Barkley
SF- Wade
SG- Jordan
PG- Stockton
vs
C- Russell
PF- Malone
SF- Lebron
SG- Kobe
PG- Nash

On a side note, Team 1 is horrible.

Team 1 is horrible.

Team 3 is a little thin on the wings and Team 5 can exploit that pretty well with LeBron, Pippen, and Hill. :patrice:

But Barkley could play down to his size and play the 3 in some lineups -- especially paired next to Olajuwon who could stretch the floor.

Prime Barkley was pretty nimble on the court.

Other than that, MJ would have to play out of position at the 3 and guard LeBron or Pippen because Wade and Allen can't do it. :patrice:

Outside of Russell, Malone/Dirk/Howard down low is kind of light on defense. Especially when they have to guard Barkley/Olajuwon/Robinson.:gucci:

It'd be BBQ chicken down low for Team 3.

so if you put barkley at the 3, which he could easily play especially in his early sixers days. Who you putting at the 4? Definitely not ZO or David robinson

Olajuwon at the 4 who had the athleticism to pretty much guard 1-5 and the playmaking ability to stretch out the defense a bit. I guess you'd be forced to play Robinson at the 5 solely.

Then you'd have to rotate MJ at the 3 at times and move Barkley down to the 4 to get Olajuwon rest. Then play Stockton/Kidd at PG and Wade at SG.

And Zo would backup Robinson. Kerr/Allen for out-of-bounds plays.

So I guess the rotation would work as followed:

Stockton/Kidd
MJ/Wade/Allen/Kerr
Barkley/MJ
Olajuwon/Barkley
Robinson/Mourning
