Aite, this nikka KiD CuDi put up 85k this week with this new album. shyt had ZERO radio play, zero promo, no videos and no major label backing. nikka essentially told his relatively modest volume of twitter followers that the shyt was out there on iTunes and his fans came through and he somehow shifted 85k.
Obviously 85k isn't THAT much comparable to some first week artists but when you think about it, it's quite a formiddable amount to move given his circumstances. That 85k is 5x more impressive than Q's 140k with Oxy for example.
Begs the question, does this nikka have the most loyal fanbase in the game? If not, which other artist has FANS that really roll deep and pay for their content like that?
