I'd say Lupe Fiasco, he has everything, only prob is he's so damn stubborn.

But of course there's no such thing as perfection or it would have happened already.
But I think he's the main contender.

50 Cent can, but I'm convinced he wont. I think he rubbed the wrong ppl over at Interscope.

Saigon can, but I also don't think he has the desire.

Papoose surely can, but his main obstacle is politics.

Nas can, but he didn't really leave, he can become greater though, his perceived status can go higher, but that wouldn't be a comeback.

Game can, but I don't think he will, and I think young money gonna shelf him.
He needs a label that forces him to go back to his old gully self.
It's too bad, he's very talented.

Eminem can, but I don't think he will. I think he will make bad decisions for his new album.

So with that said most probable is Lupe Fiasco!

How did Lupe fiasco "fade" when his last album was one of his best and was nominated for Best Rap Album at the Grammys?

Nas last album was last year, his best reviewed album in years, debuted at number 1 and garnered 4 Grammy Noms. Nas NEVER "faded" so how can he come "back"?

Saigon is strictly independent/underground now and that's probably what's best for him at this point

Papoose time in the mainstream has come and gone

50 Cent is Ice cold, dude is the block of ice that sank the titanic.

Cacinem hasn't faded either. His last album was as popular as ever and I'm sure MMLP 2 will be more than enough to return him to White Jesus status.

Game probably is the best pick amongst this list as far perhaps "fading" from his initial popularity. I don't think Cash Money will shelve him as he has a loyal fanbase and 1 or 2 hit singles could catapult right back into a Gold artist.

With all the homage thats being paid to him lately, there could be lane for Ma$e to make some type of comeback today.

An artist is supposed to increase his fanbase, he's decreasing it.

I still love dude's music don't take me wrong, I used to back him up all the time.
But I've come to the conclusion that a real fan must speak the truth whether negative or positive.

And as far as that nomination.. pshh... slim pickings that year!
