Thing is, there's nothing about 40's content that separates him. He spitting regular street shyt. So it can't make you hip or square for liking or not liking him.

It just means you don't fukk with his style. The vast majority of hip-hop fans apparently don't because he's never sold most people a record.

As far as square, also, you're acting like you can't fathom inner cities in America outside of Vallejo where 40 is looked at as "That weird nicca from Oakland." I understand he's some kind of don OG in the Bay and all that and that's cool but that has nothing to do with him being unlistenable.

In fact, that weird shyt probably appeals on a much higher level to squares because the average person is going to give that shyt the face.

I don't know the man personally. Might be a cool guy to hit the city with but his music is trash to me and I'm not alone in that opinion.
