Self Destruction. But Shock G/Humpty had my favorite Verse out of all of them. Then Moe Dee.

I also love Lyte's verse even though LL wrote it. I wish he could have recorded.

Self Destruction was typical verbal gymnastics from an East Coast slant....

kool moe dee..."never ever ran from the klu klux klan ..and I shouldn't have to run from a black man"...

:ohlawd: even MC Lyte was spitting hard

can't hate on WE ALL IN THE SAME GANG though....I loved the way each rapper rode the beats and the changups...

Easy E had the most memorable and hilarious line.....

"my baby AIN'T DID NUTTING TO NOBODY :noah:
but he still got SMOKED AT BAY BAY'S PARTY!!!" :violent:

I don't like comparing the two..to me they BOTH SERVED THIER PURPOSE...because black on black violence on both coasts needed to be addressed by the hip hop communities....

and it makes me proud to think their WAS A TIME when hip hop didn't try to exploit the streets and rather tried to distinguish between REALITY and ENTERTAINMENT....

nowadays .......rappers love to sensationalise death , drugs and destruction....

my , my , my how things have changed :why:
