Which day would make a suicide more poignant, your birthday or New Year's Day?

Which day do you think would prove more that you would no longer wish to carry on in this world?

I'd probably say birthday. :ehh: All the big and small adulation that comes on that day, you can directly face it and truly determine whether it actually means anything at all.
And any remembrance of your birthday afterwards would automatically be connected with your statement.

Thoughts?

I'd have to go with Birthday. Why, well they decided to exit on the day they were born. It has good meaning to it too. :manny:

Waiting on a specific day to kill your self is stupid. It's like planning an L.. Expect it's permanent one.

I would say birthday would be more poignant, but the day will forever be draped in the memory of ur suicide and that will hurt the people who truly loved deeply cuz theyll always wonder if they could have prevented ur death someway. All the good memories of ur birth and photos of other bdays through the yrs will be sorrow.

True, I guess if the person were to be considerate they would choose a less meaningful day to exit this world. Now let's say if the person were to do it on their Birthday, then it could be possible that the people who truly cared, and loved that person might decide to celebrate that person's Birthday with many good memories that they created together; instead of mourning. For the most part people decide to mourn more vs celebrating that person's life. Ypu know what I'm thinking to much...:snoop:
