Comedy wise I would say 80s.

Action....i would say 80s too.

Drama, probably 90s.

Horror probably 80s easily.

What y'all think? Sci Fi, Fantasy gangster etc. Which decade did it better?

Titanic
Jurrasic Park

Forrest Gump

80s got
Terminator
Aliens
Predator
Die Hard
Robocop
Lethal Weapon 1 and 2
Batman

I don't think 90a can match that line up. Action wise.

80's def set the standard some of those won't ever be topped but if you're including action/adventure in the mix then the 90's packs a punch on that front

Terminator 2
The Matrix
Jurassic Park
Totall Recall
Rush Hour
Men in Black
Independence Day
Batman Returns
Blade
Starship Troopers

If you start talking about violent dramas with action set pieces, then I think the 90's easily starts to pull away. But yeah, traditional hard 80's action is unmatched.

I agree.

It's a close call when you really break it down.
