Haven't experienced any health systems except the UK on and I'm happy with it.
Needed treatment for a broken arm, and infected leg injury (almost needed apmutated but they where able to save it) and spent the night in hospital after a knife attack.
Great treatments, no waiting times since all of them where emergencies and completely free.

don't know for sure as I never asked the c*nts but I think it was football/related. Got jumped while in the wrong part of govan wearing a Celtic top after an old firm game.
Could have been worse though, I got off alright and was out the hospital the day after.
To opt out of 100% access? Be my guess.
He isn't going to be able to afford any level of healthcare if he has to pay the actual cost, but hey, if thats what he wants, ok.
The reason pro private insurance folks were against the public option is that they knew everyone would drop their insurance so fast the folks who were left wouldn't be able to afford it.

I can say that most of us Brits don't want the US healthcare system.
